John Rodriguez

John Rodríguez was born in the City of La Vega in the Dominican Republic, at the age of 19, he entered the National Police force, where he received praise and letters of recommendation from his superiors, due to his conduct. 3 years later, he took the decision to seek for new horizons and he requested to be discharged, thus obtaining his retirement from the police force, receiving "an honorable discharge." When he was 22 years old, he emigrated to the United States, and due to his experience as a barber, he worked in several barbershops in the City of Lawrence, MA, and due to his affable and respectful treatment, he earned the affection and respect of his colleagues, and the customers support, who follow him since he started until now. In 2007 he moved to the City of Boston, MA, looking for an even better future. During 2009 with GOD’S help, because of keeping his Christian faith, he managed to achieve one of his goals and opened his first barbershop: "Alto Estilo Barber Shop", a business which God has allowed to remain stable and productive; creating job opportunities, too many young people who heard his story and were inspired to imitate him, opening their own businesses.
